Summer is in full swing!
And we're ready to celebrate with delicious summer foods...
We begin this month with our homemade Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce. Tender steak & juicy chicken, flame grilled and slathered with tasty goodness. Only July 1-12.
Then in the second half of July we put a big pot on the stove and start slow-cooking our traditional Louisiana Boil. We know they use crawfish in Louisiana, but most of us Northern folk seem to prefer shrimp, scallops, and clams, so we make that modification. Either way, you're going to love this! July 13-31.
And then there's dessert: depending upon which berries are freshest our baker, Nelly, will be baking berry sweets with whatever's in season! Strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, etc...
Finally, we will continue to serve our country-style Pulled Pork throughout the summer. We'll be making pulled pork sandwiches, Pork Rachel sandwiches (topped with homemade coleslaw) and other delicious entree plates.
